- Monthly maintenance is more than wiping a lens or confirming a green icon. A useful record connects the scene to the device: image obstruction, focus, glare, night behavior, bracket and seal, cable and PoE state, recorder and storage, time, access, firmware, alerts, privacy masks, and the person responsible for the next action.

Record the result, not only the intention
- Sample important and difficult-light cameras by scene purpose, not only by device status.
- Inspect lens, cover, focus, image, IR or lighting, bracket, seal, cable, PoE, and environment.
