PURPOSE
A PTZ camera can move from a wide view to a selected target, use presets or tours, and support an operator's investigation. When it turns away, however, it may no longer preserve the scene it left. Zoom, focus, tracking, exposure, latency, and return behavior therefore belong in an operating design with fixed views, not in a feature list alone.
